P1 QUERYSandustry flower automation thermal buffer pyro dispenser
Sandustry Flower Automation: Confirmed Components
DIRECT ANSWER
The developer FAQ supports this direction: unlock Thermal Buffer and Pyro Dispenser, provide heat, and automate flower burning. A Thermal Buffer can be heated with the Flamethrower; a Pyro Dispenser costs 2,000 Gold and fires every three seconds when an adjacent Thermal Buffer supplies heat. The sources do not publish a complete loop, exact placement, heat range, or runaway-flower cleanup method.

- Pyro Dispenser
- Tier 3 · 2,000 Gold
- Published cadence
- Every 3 seconds when heated

The screenshot shows colored particles moving through conveyors across purple terrain. It does not identify the particles as Flower or prove Thermal Buffer, Pyro Dispenser, or Flamethrower placement.

Follow the published biological chain only
The current references support a bounded sequence: Burnt Residue processed by a Kinetic Press can produce Gold and Seed; Seed touching Water becomes Wet Seed; Wet Seed touching a Planter Box grows into Flower. Fire or weapons can destroy Flower and produce Gold and Amethelis.
Add heat and a Pyro Dispenser
Research currently lists Thermal Buffer in Tier 2 for 1,000 Gold and Pyro Dispenser in Tier 3 for 2,000 Gold. The FAQ says Thermal Buffer can be heated with the Flamethrower, and the Research page says an adjacent heated buffer lets Pyro Dispenser fire every three seconds.
- Unlock Thermal Buffer and Pyro Dispenser.
- Supply heat; the FAQ names Flamethrower as one option.
- Place the dispenser adjacent to the heated buffer as described by the current page.
- Treat the three-second line as a published component cadence, not whole-farm throughput.
Stop where the sources stop
No checked source provides a complete blueprint, heat radius, continuous replenishment logic, exact throughput, or a reliable method for cleaning runaway flowers. Those remain missing rather than being inferred from official imagery.
